Willie Oxendine

Willie Oxendine, age 75 of Laurinburg, NC passed away on December 24, 2024.

He was born September 26, 1949 in Scotland County, NC, son of the late Henrietta Oxendine. Willie was a talented carpenter working in the construction industry for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, listening to music and playing a round of golf. Willie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Along with his mother, he is preceded in death by wife, Glensie Locklear Oxendine; sister, Magaline Bullard; and granddaughter, Brianna Oxendine.

Willie is survived by sons, Willie Dion Oxendine, Daniel Ray Oxendine; daughters, Cassandra Kay Clark, Donna Marie Cummings (Terry), Michelle Locklear Hunt (Christopher); special great-grandson whom he raised as his own, Joseph Bowen; brother, Allen Oxendine; sister, Margaret Norton; grandchildren, Jessica Hunt (Jacob), Joshua Oxendine, Jordan Campbell, Justina Alora Ransom (Dave), Daisha Oxendine, Kalee Campbell, Peter Campbell, Jr., Tara Hunt, Corbin Clark, Kalum Lowery, Payton Cummings, Tallis Oxendine, Asia Fore, Kierra Oxendine, Hannah Oxendine, Layla Oxendine, Alexis Oxendine; great-grandchildren, Jacob Morgan, Jr., Alden Morgan, Lilly Ransom, Brylyn Ransom, Scarlett Ransom, Gabriella Ransom, Bryson Ransom, Nayla Tanner, Jeremiah Bowen, Kalyssa Bowen, David Dial, Kambre Jenkins, Aria Clark, Kinnley Lowery, Cole Tyson, Teslianna Tyson, and Nova Fore; along with a host of loving extended family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2024 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.

Visitation will be held prior to services from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
