Wayne David Wojtyna, Sr.

Wayne David Wojtyna, Sr., of Laurinburg, formerly of Vermont, passed away at the age of 62 on July 15, 2026.  He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother who will deeply be missed.

Born on December 1, 1963 in Rockville, Connecticut, son of the Mary E.B. Bregman Hoadley and the late Wesley John Wojtyna, Sr. He loved and adored his family and sharing time with each of them.  He was a skilled perfectionist as an auto body repairman, a hardworking man who truly enjoyed his work.

Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Wesley John Wojtynna, Jr.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Donna L. Wojtyna of their home; sons, Wayne “David” Wojtyna, Jr., (Cynthia) of Laurinburg, NC, Andrew John Wojtyna (Stephanie) of Vermont; daughter, Stacey MeGrath (Jordan) of Concord, NC; his mother, Mary E.B. Hoadley (Kenneth) of Yuma, AZ; sister, Mary Wojtyna of Alaska; his adored grandchildren, Abagael Wojtyna, Aerabella Wojtyna, Aleifr Wojtyna, Dustin Wood, Dexter Wood, Adrienne Wood; and a host of loving extended family and friends.

The family is planning a memorial service at a later date in Vermont.
