Warren “Buster” Monroe Dean, Jr., age 88 of Laurel Hill passed away on December 22, 2021.

Born October 10, 1933, only child of the late Warren Monroe Dean, Sr., and Evelyn Callahan Dean of Marlboro County, South Carolina. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and Korean War who proudly served with both the United States Air Force and United States Army. He loved his work as a journeyman sheet metal fabricator only retiring to declining health. He was also an avid bowler and enjoyed pitching horseshoes.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Zelpha Wilde Dean.

He is survived by his children, sons, David Dean, Danny Dean (Phyllis), Nelson Monroe Dean, Jeffrey Dean (Brenda), Mark Dean and daughter, Patricia Dean Absher (James); grandchildren, Patricia Gail Dean, Danny Dean, Angela Michelle Dean, Mona Ann Dean, Jeffrey David Dean, Jamie Nelson Dean, Lyulf Dean, Liam Dean; great grandchildren, Alexandra Mongold, Callie Harrison, Darwin Kitsune Dean, Rhette Leasure and Cameryn Leasure.
