Walter "Marcus" Arnett

Walter “Marcus” Arnett, age 67 of Laurel Hill passed away Friday, March 13, 2020.

Marcus was born February 13, 1953 in Richmond County, a son of the late Walter Thomas Arnett and Sarah Maske Arnett. He worked many years as a welder for Kayline Homes. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and tinkering with old cars and trucks.

Marcus is survived by his brother, Gary Arnett and wife, Suellen of Laurinburg; his niece, Shandi Webb, husband Jason and their children, Carley and Abbey Webb, all of Rockingham; stepson, Heath Stone of Laurinburg; his K-9 companion “Rudy”, along with many friends.

The family will have a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.

STATE OFFICIALS HAVE MANDATED LIMITING GATHERINGS TO NO MORE THAN 50 PEOPLE. IN ORDER TO KEEP ALL OF OUR FAMILIES SAFE AT THIS TIME, RICHARD BOLES FUNERAL SERVICE WILL ABIDE BY THIS MANDATE.

A private interment will be at a later date.
