Vonda Kay Jeffcoat

Vonda Kay Jeffcoat of Laurinburg passed away at the age of 63 on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

She was born July 19, 1961 in Scotland County, NC, loving daughter of Henry Jeffcoat and the late Elizabeth “Lib” Theresa Smith Jeffcoat. Vonda was a valued employee for many devoted years with the South Carolina Department of Transportation. She was an avid Duke Blue Devils Football fan who also enjoyed boating and fishing. Vonda especially loved her animals and getting together with family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Along with her mother, she is preceded in death by sisters, Sharon Jeffcoat Smart Goude and Gail Walters.

Left to cherish her memory is her father, Henry Jeffcoat of Laurel Hill; brother, H. Wayne Jeffcoat and wife, Sylvia of Wilmington; sister, Debbie Robinson of Laurinburg; adored nieces and nephews, Melissa Cole, Eddie Dutch, Brent Robinson, Johnny Stone, Jimmy Walters, Gary Walters, Phillip Walters, Jayson Pittman, Adyson Strickland, Ryan Dutch, Logan Dutch, Taylor Berdeau; along with a host of loving extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Hillside Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held prior to the services on Monday beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
