Veda Burch Harding

Veda Burch Harding, age 71 of Laurinburg departed this life for her Heavenly home on November 6, 2025.

She was born July 9, 1954 in Shelby, NC, loving daughter of the late Ben Ray Burch and the late Thelma Cook Burch. Veda worked as a manager in a medical transcription office for many devoted years until retiring. She faithfully served as a member of Gray Pond Baptist Church. Veda loved to travel, collect antiques, and listening to her windchimes. Most of all, she loved to entertain family and friends with good food and wonderful fellowship. Veda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, devoted sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 44 years, Ronald Harding of the home; son, Shawn Bowman and wife, Gina of Orlando, FL; sisters, Tina Gerardi of Ocala, FL, Sherry Keith of Carthage, NC, Judy Canfield of Orlando, FL; her precious grandchildren, Belle Bowman, Max Bowman, and Gates Bowman; along with a host of loving extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025  at the Gray Pond Baptist Church with burial following in Stewartsville Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday beginning 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church.
