Tyrone "Gene" Eugene Parker

Mr. Tyrone “Gene” Eugene Parker, age 71 of Wagram passed away on February 4, 2026.

He was born April 4, 1954 in Moore County, NC, loving son of the late Carroll and Gladys Thompson Parker. Gene was a true salesman who’s love for talking to people led to a fulfilling career with Royal Cup Coffee for many dedicated years until retiring. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching the television, taking care of his cats, and was an avid golfer. His greatest joy was spending time with his special companion, Sue. Gene will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his adored companion, Kathy “Sue” Grooms of Wagram; son, Jason Parker; daughter, Alisha McIntyre (Derick) of Supply; brother, Donnie Parker (Heidi) of Hope Mills, Wayne Parker of Fayetteville; sister, Debbie Fritz of Fayetteville; granddaughter, Layla McIntyre; along with many loving extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in the Spring Hill Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Monday beginning 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
