Obituary
Timothy Leland Wyland was born June 11, 1959 in Lincoln, Illinois, loving son of Letha Bell Brigman Wyland and the late James Elmo Wyland. He was a jokester, aways wanting to make others laugh and enjoy themselves. He worked in textiles for many years until he joined Wyland Builders where he loved using his talents in construction. He also enjoyed working on cars, loved cookouts and sharing meals with family. Tim passed away at the age of 63 on May 12, 2023. A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will truly be missed.
Tim is survived by his wife of 31 years, Blanche Bullard Wyland of the home; sons, Patrick Keith Smith (Tamera), Timothy Leland Wyland, Jr., and Franklin Wayne Wyland (Brooke); his mother, Letha Bell Wyland; brothers, Gary Wyland and Danny Wyland (Marsha); sister, Vickie Purcell (Dave); grandchildren, Kinzleigh, Lakota, Colton, Kaylen, Layla, Jr., Keitan, Kai, Raelynn, Chayton, and Adysin, along with nieces, nephews and a loving extend family.
The family is planning a memorial service to celebrate Tim’s life at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church. A time of visitation will be held prior to the services from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at the church.
