Thomas Eugene "Gene" Hall

Mr. Thomas Eugene “Gene” Hall, age 85 of Laurinburg passed away at his home on January 28, 2023.

Gene was the loving son of the late James and Ethel Beck Hall born June 15, 1937 in Salisbury, North Carolina.  He had a long distinguished career in Mobil Home Sales retiring in 2002 after 30 years of service.  In their younger years, Gene and his loving wife Joyce loved spending time at the beach and enjoying shagging the night away.  He also enjoyed playing golf and spending time on their boat.  Gene was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Living Word.  A devoted husband, father and grandfather who will truly be missed.

Gene is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joyce Graham Hall of the home; daughters, Robin Cheyne and husband, Will of Los Angeles, CA; and Lorrie Allen and husband, Bob of Salisbury, NC; grandchildren, Laurin and Justin; his sisters, Carolyn Matney, husband, Rex of Statesville, NC, and Louise Bryant of Greenville, SC.

In lieu of food and flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be given to the Lutheran Church of the Living Word, 1925 S. Main Street, Laurinburg, NC 28352 or the Humane Society of Scotland County, 1401 West Boulevard, Laurinburg, NC 28352.

The family is planning a memorial service later in the spring.
