Teresa Ann Locklear Walden

Teresa Ann Locklear Walden, age 59 of Laurinburg passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Teresa Ann was born in Scotland County on April 29, 1961 to the late Fuller and Betty Lou Cummings Locklear. She was a former restaurant owner in Robeson County. Ann loved to cook, and spend time watching her stories on television. Ann also enjoyed getting manicures and talking to anyone that she came in contact with. She also attended Springfield Pentecostal Holiness Church. Most of all, Teresa loved her time with family and friends.

Surviving are two sons, John David Walden of Wilmington, and Timothy Ray Fulton Walden of Laurinburg; daughter, April Walden Oxendine and husband Rev. Jonathan Oxendine of Aberdeen; special friend, Ricky Jacobs of the home; brother, Bobby Locklear and sister, Janet Locklear both of Maxton; three grandchildren, Frederick Locklear, Jonathan Oxendine, Jr. and Joshua Oxendine along with a host of loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in the Walden Family Cemetery.   The family will receive friends prior to services from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
