Tammy Rena Powell

Tammy Rena Powell, age 51 of Fuquay-Varina passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021.

Tammy was born July 31, 1969 in Richmond County, daughter of the late Marvin Floyd Powell and Utha Mae Spencer. She enjoyed listening to beach music and Shagging on the Strand, traveling, and loved her K-9 family. Tammy most loved spending time with her family and will truly be missed as a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Teryn Lynch.

She is survived by daughter, Talon Lynch (Hannah) of Fuquay-Varina; brother, O’Hara Powell (Shelley) of Raleigh; nephew, Evan Tyler Powell of Oxford, along with a host of extended family and friends.

A Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in Richmond Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Jerry Powell. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at graveside.
