Tammy Rogers Childers

Tammy Rogers Mishue Childers, age 54 of Laurinburg departed this life for her Heavenly home on Sunday, July 6, 2025.

She was the loving daughter of the late Gary Edward Elliott and the late Sandra Oakley Elliott, born July 22, 1970 in Lowndes County, GA. Tammy worked for the UNC Hospitals and was a valued member of the I.T. Department. She served as a faithful member of Multitudes Church where she loved singing with the Praise Team. Tammy enjoyed being on the boat, traveling to different places, and especially time spent with her adored family and friends.  She was a loving wife, mother, devoted sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Jim Elliott and Gary Lee Elliott.

Left to cherish her memory is husband, Jeffrey “Brent” Childers of the home; sons, Kolton Childers (Maddie) of Wadesboro, Thomas Evan Childers (Hannah) of Ellerbe; brothers, Charlie Rogers of Raleigh, Glynn Elliott (Jaclyn) of West End; and sister, SanDee Locklear; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Multitudes Church with burial following in the Blue Cemetery. 

A time of visitation will be held prior to the services on Saturday beginning 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Multitudes Church.
