Tammie Lynn Lowery was born on October 28, 1968 in Scotland County, the daughter of the late Patsy Dial Brayboy and the late Buddy Hendrix. Tammie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved family times and visits with her grandchildren and children. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, watching wrestling, and being at home with her dog, Rusty. Tammie passed away at the age of 56 on September 16, 2025.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Dial Brayboy; father, Buddy Hendrix; brother, Gregory Smith; grandparents, Letha Mae and Willie Red Dial; and nephew, Kayden Delynn Dial.
Tammie leaves behind to cherish her memory husband, David Lowery, Jr., of the home; children, Aaron Lowery and Amanda Santiago of Polkton, Cameron Lowery and Alexis King of Concord; grandchildren, Leland Lowery, Layla Lowery, Salem Lowery, Ryatt Lowery; brother, Edward Lee Smith of Laurinburg; sister, Wendy Jones (Michael) of Laurinburg; nieces, Jessica Smith, Raelynn Smith; nephews, Braxton Mahar, Joshua Dial; father-in-law, David “Pete” Lowery, Sr.; mother-in-law, Teresa Stevenson (Tim); many cousins and extended family; and her aunt, Effie Quick who she called her second mother.
Service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Stewartsville Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
