Stephen "Toby" Joseph McMillan

Stephen Joseph McMillan, known to many as “Toby” passed away at the age of 54 near his home in Hanahan, South Carolina.

Toby was the son of Sheryl Bracey Clarke and step son of Alfred Clarke of McColl, SC, and son of the late Joseph Finley McMillan.  He was an extremely talented interior carpenter who loved his work in construction and restoration of homes.  Toby suffered many personal battles; however, he was a steadfast AA member, serving as an inspirational leader during the last few years.  He will truly be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother and step father, Sheryl and Alfred Clarke of McColl, SC; children, Finley Thomas McMillan, and DanaRae McKay McMillan; their mother, Jenna McMillan each of Meggett, SC; sister, Jenny McMillan Valdaliso of Bennettsville, SC; son, Charles “Charlie” Ezzell, along with a host of many loving friends.

The family has planned a time of visitation to celebrate the life of Toby on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarke, 1652 Highway 381 North, McColl, SC, 29570.
