Sidney Lee Tomlinson, Jr.

Sidney Lee Tomlinson Jr., age 76 of Laurinburg, passed away on Saturday, February 08, 2020.

Sidney was born April 19, 1943 in Groveland, Florida, a loving son of the late Sidney Lee Tomlinson Sr., and Eleanor Watson Tomlinson.   He was a Vietnam War Veteran who proudly served with the United States Army.  He retired after many years of service from the Highland Electric Company.   He most enjoyed his time flying in his airplane.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Phyllis Butler Tomlinson; brother, Elias Bryant Tomlinson and sisters, Ruth Evans.

Sidney is survived by his sister, Eloise Tomlinson Johns of Groveland, FL along with his nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends.

The family is conducting a  memorial service on Saturday, February 22,  4:00 p.m. at the East Laurinburg Baptist Church.
