Sharon Snipes Lewis was born June 20, 1961 in Scotland County, daughter of Wilson Thomas Snipes and Alice McCormick Ramos and wife to the late Victor Edward Lewis. She worked in mobile home sales for many years, loved fishing, cooking, and going to the beach. Sharon had great sense of humor and was the life of the party everywhere she went. Her gift of selflessness shined through in her love for people and sharing with others in many ways. Sharon most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and will forever be missed as a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She passed away August 29, 2021 at the age of 60.
Sharon is survived by her children, Dana Mahar (Billy), Pamela Paige Parker, all of Laurel Hill, Kellyn Lewis, Jacob Lewis (Kayla Locklear), all of Laurinburg; father, Wilson Thomas Snipes of Hamlet; mother, Alice McCormick Ramos of Laurinburg; brothers, Jackie Snipes of Hollywood, FL, Anthony Tanzola (Emilie) of Ocala, FL, Robert Ramos of Laurinburg; sisters, Debi Snipes Locklear of Laurinburg, Karen Snipes McGee (Larry) of Randleman; twenty grandchildren, three great grandchildren, along with her many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Due to the pandemic, a private visitation for family and invited guests only will be held 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel. A private burial will be at later date.
