Sarah Webb Obituary

Sarah Margaret Bowyer Webb was born April 14, 1938 in Scotland County, daughter of the late Douglas Bowyer, Sr. and Lillie Mae Sessoms Bowyer and devoted wife to the late Archie Leon Webb, Sr. She enjoyed working with flowers in her garden and watching her favorite television programs. Sarah dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker and will always be remembered as a devoted mother, loving grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the age of 83.

Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Faircloth and sisters, Polly Bowyer, Lucille Baker, and Shirley Brown.

Sarah leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, Archie Leon Webb, Jr., Benjamin Webb, both of Laurel Hill; daughter, Donna Webb of Laurel Hill; brothers, Douglas Bowyer, Jr., Billy Ray Bowyer, both of West End, Michael Bowyer of Pine Bluff; sisters, Betty Epps of Lexington, SC, Peggy Newman of Eagles Springs, JoAnn Webb of West End, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a host of many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 in Caledonia United Methodist Church Cemetery.

COVID-19 mandates require facial masks with social distancing for all services.
