Sandra Jacobs

Sandra Gardner Jacobs, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, of Myrtle Beach, SC departed this life on August 5, 2023.

Born 74 years ago to the late John M. Gardner and the late Sara Bass Gardner on October 17, 1948 in Dillon County, SC. Sandra worked as a customer service representative for many years. She loved to play Bingo, cherished family gatherings, and never met a stranger. Sandra will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Sara Elizabeth Pevey; and great-nephew, Cory Pevey.

Left to cherish her memory is son, Johnny Jacobs (Mary) of Laurinburg, NC; granddaughter, Kortney Jacobs of Laurinburg, NC; nephews, Cale Pevey (Stephanie) and Michael Pevey both of Laurinburg, NC; nieces, Tina Carter (Cliff) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Sandra Kay (Charlie) of Laurel Hill, NC; along with a host of loving family, friends, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following at Pinecrest Cemetery.  Visitation will be held prior to the services from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family will also receive visitors at Cale and Stephanie Pevey’s home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday night, August 8, 2023.
