Rudine Bryant Cooper

Rudine Bryant Cooper, age 79 of Laurinburg passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024.

She was born April 25, 1945 in Scotland County, NC, loving daughter of the late Nolan Bryant and the late Juanita McGirt Bryant. Rudine was a homemaker who also worked in textiles for many years with JP Stevens, Inc., until retiring. She was a member of Smithtown Church of God where she loved attending and worship. Rudine loved to cook a wonderful meal and cherished time spent with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Cooper; siblings, Howard Bryant, Myrna Harris, David Bryant, and Carlis Bryant.

Rudine is survived by sons, Robert Cooper (Coppelia) of Laurinburg, Brian Cooper (Pam) of Laurel Hill; siblings, Lyndoyle “Cubby” Bryant, Evelyn Moore, and Kenneth Bryant; grandchildren, Kayla Lowry (Trey), Bryce Cooper, Ashley Cooper-Clark; and great-grandchildren, Treyson Lowry, Colin Lowry, Sebastian Cummings, Nolan Clark, Ethan Clark, Reed Clark, Arturo Clark; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in the Smithtown Church of God Cemetery.

Visitation with family will be prior to services on Thursday beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
