Ronald Dean Jones

Ronald Dean Jones was born May 3, 1963 in Hinsdale, Illinois, loving son of the late Maurice and Wanda Syfert Jones.  He passed away at the age of 62 on April 30, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family.

Upon graduation from high school, Ronald proudly enlisted and served our nation in the United States Navy.   He had a long career as a Maintenance Mechanic with the Campbell Soup Company. With his talented mechanical skills, one of his favorite hobbies was working on cars.  He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an avid collector of match box cars.  Above all, he adored his family cherishing every moment shared with them.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Jones.

Ronald leaves behind his adored wife of nine years, Marianne Capina Jones and his daughter, Gwyneth Jones of their home in Laurel Hill, NC; nephews, Christopher Jones, Kelly Jones, Jamie Jones; and his best friend of 40 years, Pat Benfield.
