Ronald Clark, beloved husband, father and grandfather, brother, and friend departed this life at the age of 69 surround by the love of his family on July 18, 2025. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ronald was born December 4, 1955, son of the late Melvin and Nancy Locklear Clark of Marlboro County, South Carolina. He was a proud Veteran who served in the United States Army. He was a hardworking man specializing as a roofing contractor in construction. In his leisure time, Ronald loved his time near the water whether on the lake or at the beach often with fishing pole in hand. He also enjoyed gardening, especially growing banana trees and palm trees, with his television time watching old westerns.
Along with his parents, preceding him in death are his daughter, Jackie Denise Clark; and brothers, Billy Thomas Clark, Howard Clark and Jerry Clark.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Diane Johnson Clark of their home in Laurinburg; son, Jonathan Thomas Clark (Gwendolyn) of Laurinburg; sisters, Glennis Haux (Bob), Lenora Gardner (Tommy) each of Laurinburg; three grandchildren, Triston Cox, Kelly Clark, Jay Clark (Aaliyah); four great grandchildren, Gunner Williams, McKenzie Cox, Harden Clark, Harlyn Clark; along with a host of nieces, nephews and his extended loving family.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Rev. Richard Tyson. Burial with military honors will follow the service in Laurinburg Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held prior to services on Tuesday beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
