Roger Ladon Lewis, Jr.

Roger Ladon Lewis, Jr., age 57 of Laurel Hill passed away May 26, 2023.

Roger was the only son of Roger Ladon Lewis, Sr., and the late Anita Christine Godwin Lewis born November 22, 1965 in Laurinburg, North Carolina.  He was a graduate of Scotland High School in the Class of 1984. Roger had a jovial personality, always laughing and sharing that laughter with others.  He worked for 27 years with the United Parcel Service, Inc.  He enjoyed fishing, collecting anything vintage with a special interest in coins, cards, bottles and books.  Above all, Roger loved his children and his best times were shared with them.  He was always so proud participating and attending their school events.  He will truly be missed by all of his loved ones.

Roger is survived by his son, Roger Shane Lewis and daughters, Destiny Paige Lewis and Morgan Rose Lewis; father, Roger Ladon Lewis, Sr., sister, Vee T. Lewis (Jonathan Greene); two grandchildren, Braxton McKenzie and Braylee McKenzie, his extended family and many friends.

There will be a time of visitation for family and friends on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Richard Boles Funeral Home Chapel.
