Robert Anthony Bozeman, Sr., age 76 of Laurinburg passed away at his home on May 13, 2021.
Robert was born October 27, 1944 in Queens, New York, a son of the late Ulysses Bozeman and Aretta Tyson Lee Bozeman. Robert was a decorated United States Army Veteran who defended our nation in Germany along with two tours of duty in the Vietnam War. In recognition of his service and bravery, Robert was awarded the Purple Heart Medal and the Bronze Star Medal. He continued his career as an electrician who enjoyed bowling, pitching horseshoes and truly loved sharing time with his family. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his loving wife, children and grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Ralph Bozeman, Jeff Bozeman and sister, Tammy Kent.
Robert leaves behind his wife, Kathleen Reynolds Bozeman of the home; his sons, Dennis J. Bozeman (Lori), and Robert A. Bozeman, Jr., (Rhonda) both of Mt. Pleasant, NC; brother, John Henry Lee and sister, Henrietta Lee both of Virginia; his adoring grandchildren, Roby Bozeman, Shane Bozeman, Leanna Bozeman, Travis Bozeman (Alyssa), Isaiah Whitley, Nevaeh Winston, Josey Bell Bozeman, Emmie Bozeman, Izzy Bozeman, Kaius Winston, Kieva Carpenter, Robbie Sadler, Quayshawn Sadler, Anthony Baucom and the late Lita Carpenter. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and many loving friends.
The family is planning a memorial service for a later date at their home.
