Obituary
Ricky Deal, Jr., was born January 27, 1992 in Robeson County, North Carolina, the son of Stephanie Quick Barton and the late Ricky Ray Deal, Sr. He enjoyed hs work of many years in the construction industry. He was a talented artist, enjoyed riding four wheelers, and entertaining others. His greatest joy was time spent with his family and friends. Ricky will be missed by all who knew and loved him passing away at the age of 31 on August 7, 2023.
Along with his father, he is preceded in death by brother, Kirt Austin Quick.
Ricky is survived by his sons, Raylon Deal and Rusty Deal of Maxton, NC; mother, Stephanie Barton of the home; grandparents, Shirley Quick of Maxton, NC, Mini Pearl and Luther Deal also of Maxton, NC; nephew, Kirt A. Quick of Maxton, NC; along with a host of aunts, uncles, and his many friends.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Leitch Creek Baptist Church with burial following in Leland Grove Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.
