Peggy “Ann” Williams Hopkins, age 71 of Wagram passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Richard Boles Funeral Chapel officiated by Pastor Ricky Brewer. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery
Ann was a daughter of the late Hattie Pearl Patterson Smith, born August 26, 1948 in Scotland County. She retired from the Campbell Soup Company as a forklift operator. She was a member of Wagram Church of God and former member of Spring Hill Baptist Church. Ann enjoyed cooking, cleaning, gardening and also loved animals and watching her hummingbirds. She was a special lady who enjoyed giving hugs and kisses and saying “I love you”. Her most precious moments were the time spent with family, especially her grands.
Along with her mother, Ann is preceded in death by her father, Clarence David "CD" Smith; brothers, Donald Williams, Johnny Smith, Ricky Smith and sister, Evone Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Hopkins of the home; daughter, Joanna “Lynn” H. Tucker (David Keith) of Wagram; brothers, David “Lee” Williams, Jr. of Laurinburg, Jerry Williams of Wagram; sisters, Wanda Davis, Shelia Smith, both of Wagram, Karen Colson of Maxton; grandchildren, Keith Tucker and Jeremy Tucker; great grandchild, Aiden W. Tucker, along with a host of loving nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2020 at the funeral home.
