Paula Kay Cummings

Paula Kay Cummings was the daughter of Sylvia Ann Collins Lowery and the late James Garfield Cummings born February 15, 1971.  She worked many years in the food industry with King Enterprises. She enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson Motorcycle, singing, tinkering and building things, along with playing games on her phone.  Paula’s greatest love was sharing time with her family, especially with her granddaughter, Isabelle.  She departed this life at the age of 50 on September 24, 2021. 

Along with her father, she is preceded in death by brother, James Garland Cummings and sister, Emily Ann Cummings.

Paula is survived by her wife, Kristen “Nikki” Norton Cummings of the home; children, Gabrielle Rodriguez (Jeremy), Trey Dunn, Alani Evans (Stephen), Morgan Norton, and granddaughter, Isabelle Rodriguez; her mother, Sylvia Ann Lowery of Pembroke; brother, June Cummings; sisters, Maya Madgrial, and Deanna Oxendine (Douglas), along with a host of loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in the Oxendine Family Cemetery.    Family will receive friends prior to services from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with COVID-19 precautions in place.

The family requests for memorial donations to be given to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.

COVID-19 restrictions require facial mask with social distancing and limited attendance at all services.
