Patricia Elizabeth (Frier) Sanders

Patricia Elizabeth Frier Sanders of Laurel Hill departed this life at the age of 77 on August 2, 2024.

She was born December 23, 1946 in York, SC, loving daughter of the late Colie Frier and the late Decoma Martin Frier. Patricia was a homemaker and worked many dedicated years in textiles with Mohawk Industries until retiring. She faithfully served as a member of the Laurel Hill Church of God of Prophecy. Patricia loved taking care of her animals and took great pleasure in cooking a wonderful meal for her family and friends. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her family especially her grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed and remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, James Sanders; brother, James Frier; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Sanders.

Left to rejoice in her memory are sons, Danny Sanders of the home; James Sanders, Jr., (Wendy) of Laurel Hill; brother, Calvin Frier (Dawn) of Laurel Hill; sister, Ruth Tyndall also of Laurel Hill; grandchildren, Amanda Howard, Darron Sanders, Tiffany Sanders, Adreanna Hallman, Savanah Sanders; and great-grandchildren, Elaina Howard, Connor Howard, and Alora Howard, along with a host of loving extended family and friends. 

Funeral services are planned for 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Pinecrest Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the funeral home.
