Patricia Norris Gainey

Patricia Norris Gainey, age 82 of McColl, South Carolina departed this life for her Heavenly home on November 19, 2024.

She was the loving daughter of the late Frank and Annie Lee Yates Norris, born May 4, 1942 in Marlboro County, SC. Patricia worked as a production operator for twenty-nine years with Abbott Laboratories until retiring. She served as a longtime faithful member of the McColl Church of God where she loved participating in church activities and share her love for Jesus.  Patricia was blessed with an artist gift of painting. Her greatest joy came from time shared with family and making wonderful memories. Ms. Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend who will truly be missed.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Franklin Norris; and sister, Marilyn Smith.

She leaves to rejoice in her memory son, Thomas Gainey (Terry) of McColl, SC; daughter, Anna Maria Gainey Smith (David) of Laurel Hill; brother, Robert Norris (Mary) of McColl, SC; grandchildren, Savannah Woessner, Haley Gainey, Alana King Davis, Cayse Roque, Sage Ganous; great-grandchildren, Colton Osteen, Mason Woessner, Cheyanna Todd, Macie Davis, James Davis, Taylor Davis, Axel Davis; great-great-grandchildren, Talis Todd and Rhett Todd; along with her loving extended family, friends, and church family.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2024 at McColl Church of God with burial following in Rogers Cemetery.

Visitation will be held prior to services on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the church.
