Patricia Lynn (Barnes) Bartell

Patricia Lynn Barnes Bartell, age 55 of Laurel Hill passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020.

Patricia was born September 25, 1964 in Scotland County, daughter of Mary Ann Todd Barnes and the late Vernon Thomas “Tommy” Barnes. She served many years as cafeteria manager for Shaw Academy School, then shift leader for Dollar General Stores in Laurinburg. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and playing computer games. Her greatest joy was spending time with family. Patricia will be missed as a devoted wife, loving daughter, a wonderful mother, grandmother and faithful friend.

Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Randy Thomas Barnes.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband, Lawrence “Don” Bartell, Jr. of the home; daughters, Jennifer Nicole Webb, Christina Marie Webb, both of Laurel Hill; mother, Mary Ann Barnes of Laurel Hill; grandmother, Cellie Todd of Laurel Hill; stepson, Lawrence Don “Trey” Bartell, III of California, stepdaughter, LaDonna Michele Anderson (Gary) of Maxton; step grandchildren, Paislee Anderson, Aiden Anderson and her K-9 companion, Bella, along with a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Rev. Brett Davis. Burial will follow in Laurinburg Memorial Park. Viewing will be prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Due to the current COVID-19 Mandates, to ensure public safety, masks are requested and attendance for services will be limited.
