Noah Marshall Fields was born February 2, 1925, son of the late Cleo and Annie Elizabeth Sanford Fields of Scotland County, North Carolina. He proudly served our nation in both the United States Navy and the United States Army. He had a long career owning and operating his own gas station business in Scotland County. Noah served as a member of the Masonic Lodge 305, American Legion Post 50, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was devoted to his family and will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Noah passed away the age of 96 on September 5, 2021.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Miriam Jane Kaampe Fields; his daughter, Linda Fields Sellers; and each of his siblings, brothers, Ralph Fields, Mac Fields, Robert Fields, Garrett Fields; sisters, Nolia White, Inez Lee and Clara Walker.
Noah is survived by his daughter, Janis Fields of the home; granddaughter, Lisa Gibson (Freddie); his great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service with Masonic Rites and Military Honors will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Rev. Harry Clark. The family will receive friends following the service observing all Covid-19 restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be given in Mr. Fields memory to Carolina Hearts or Scotland Regional Hospice.
COVID-19 restrictions of facial masks with social distancing are required for all services.
