Neal "Pete" Archie Deese, Jr.

Neal Archie Deese, Jr., known as Pete, passed to his Heavenly home at the age of 69 on July 19, 2025.

Pete was the son of the late Neal Archie Deese, Sr., and the late Mildred Bullard Deese born August 11, 1955 in Scotland County, NC.  Along with being a good husband and loving father, he loved his career as a truck driver.  Over the years, Pete drove for several trucking companies later to become a self-employed owner traveling many miles until his retirement.  Prior to his illness, he enjoyed his spare time hunting, fishing and attending worship at Cross Point Ministries.   Above all, he cherished time shared with family and especially being Papa Pete to his adored grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Judy Deese of their home in Hamlet; children, Dewayne Deese, Randy Deese, Phillip Micucci, Michael Smith, and Tonya Smith; brother Danny Deese and sister, Debra Allard; fourteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and loving extended family.
