Mitchell Frank Goude

Mitchell Frank Goude, age 66 of Laurinburg, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020.

Mitchell was born December 30, 1953 in Marlboro, SC, a son of the late Billy Frank Goude and Pauline Goodwin. He retired after many years of service with the Scotland County Sheriff Department. He loved cars, drag racing, being a wrestling promoter and airplane pilot. He most cherished time was spent with family and friends.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Kristina “Tina” Goude Monroe.

He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Madeline Maguire of the home; special cousin, Beatrice Brown, of Sunset Beach; grandson, Mason Monroe; brother, Roger Brooks and wife Karen of Laurinburg, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor J. B. Loving and Pastor Jerry Wilkes.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.  A private interment will be at a later date.
