Michele Giuliani, of Laurinburg, North Carolina formerly of Highwood, Illinois was born on May 8, 1936 in Nerito, Italy, son of the late Ermando Giuliani and Maria DiTommaso Giuliani. He was a Veteran who proudly served in the United States Army, going on to retire from Nieman Marcus as a tailor. He and his wife, Vanna then moved to Laurinburg, NC where he served as a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He spent many days enjoying his favorite sport of golf. To his family Michele will be remembered as a devoted husband, brother, uncle, and friend.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Santina DiPietro and Irene Sciarrone.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Vanna Donati Giuliani of the home; sister, Franca Catini of Fox Lake, IL, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Scotland Regional Hospice, P.O. Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
A Memorial Mass service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church. A Committal service will follow in St. Anthony of Padua Cemetery.
