Michael Revels Obituary

Michael Kevin Revels was born October 1, 1955 to the late Johnny Revels and Lucille Sampson Revels. He loved helping others and sharing time with family and his many friends. He enjoyed his work as a welder formerly with Butler Manufacturing. He was an avid football fan especially of the Dallas Cowboys. To his family, Michael will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He passed away at the age of 65 on February 23, 2021.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by grandsons, Jordan Lee Locklear and Bentley Liam Smith; brother, Roger Dale Revels and sisters, Marcia Revels Coble and Sybil Schomburg.

Michael is survived by his daughters, Jessica Paige Revels of Maxton, Jonnie “Megan” Revels Smith of Laurinburg; grandchildren, Jasmine Locklear, Logan Grace Locklear, Channing Gage Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews and many loving friends.

A private memorial service is being planned for a later date.
