Michael Gibson Obituary

Michael Van Gibson, age 45 of Laurel Hill passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021.

Michael was born April 15, 1975 in Scotland County, son of the late Cleo Van Gibson and Marlene Thompson Gibson. He worked many years with FCC Manufacturing, enjoyed golfing and football. Michael was a hard-worker, who was a very caring person and friendly with everyone he met. He most enjoyed his time spent with family and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Michael is survived by his companion, Trolie L. Gibson of the home; sons, Michael Van Gibson II, and Cleo Julius Gibson, both of the home; sisters, Amanda Gibson of Laurel Hill, Brandy Gibson, Nicole Gibson, both of Hamlet; mother-in-law, Teresa Coleman along with his extended family and friends.

No services have been planned at this time. A private interment will be at a later date.
