Maxine Walters Caulder

Maxine Walters Caulder was born February 9, 1948 in Gibson, North Carolina, loving daughter of the late D.J. Walters and the late Lillian Chavis Jones.  She was a wonderful homemaker and loved her work with Z.V. Pates, Inc., retiring after 30 years of dedicated service.  Maxine was a longtime faithful member of the Gibson Pentecostal Holiness Church and enjoyed serving as Sunday School Teacher, on the Church Council and where needed for church activities.  She loved cooking for her family and trips to the beach.  Maxine adored her family and truly cherished time shared with each of them.   She departed this life for her Heavenly home at the age of 75 on October 5, 2023.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Johnny Caulder, and her daughters, Melinda Caulder and Donna Malotte.

Surviving are her grandchildren, Nicolette Hood (Jeffrey) of the home, Willie White of Laurinburg, Peter Beatty of Minot, ND, Jessie Beatty (Teaundra) of Lumberton, Albert White of Pembroke, and nine great grandchildren; her sister, Betty Gibson (Bobby) of Laurinburg and a host of loving family and devoted friends.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Laurinburg Memorial Park.    Visitation will be prior to services on Tuesday beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
