Maurice Wilfred Boucher

Maurice Wilfred Boucher, age 83 of Gibson, NC passed away Monday, December 22, 2019.

Maurice was born June 20, 1936 in Waterbury, Connecticut, a son of the late Arthur Boucher and Sarah Dugre Boucher. He was a Veteran who proudly served in the United States Army and served as a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church. He retired after many years from Sunbeam Bread Company. Riding his motorcycle, involvement with Boy Scouts, and being on the computer were some of his favorite past times. He enjoyed entertaining and loved playing Santa Clause at Christmas time. Maurice was a dedicated husband, loving father, brother, uncle and friend who will forever be missed.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Robert Boucher and brother, Camille Boucher.

He leaves behind his wife, Sandra Pawloski Boucher of the home; son, Richard Boucher (Claire) of Thomaston, CT; daughter, Michelle B. Farris (Keith) of Gibson, NC; daughter-in-law, Sarah Boucher of Wolcott, CT; brothers, Raymond Boucher of NH, Roger Boucher of Oxford, CT, Andrew Boucher of Waterbury, CT; sisters, Doris Blinstrubas of Waterbury, CT, Rita Dupre, Dorothy Cantillon, both of Wolcott, CT; grandchildren, Nicole Boucher, Kyle Farris, Jennifer Boucher, Shelby Farris, Angelique Boucher and great grandchild, Alexis Farris, along with a host of loving nieces, nephews and many friends.

A Memorial Mass Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 27, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Laurinburg, NC.
