Marilyn Gibson McLaurin

Marilyn Gibson McLaurin, age 87 of Gibson, NC passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

She was born in Marlboro County, South Carolina on March 3, 1939, daughter of the late George Ed Gibson and the late Annie Lee Gibson. Marilyn was a devoted homemaker who took pleasure in creating a warm and inviting home for her family. She will be dearly missed and remembered for her love and devotion to her family and friends.

Marilyn is survived by her adored son, James R. McLaurin, Jr., of Gibson and her loving extended family and friends.
