MSGT William “Bill” Franklin Lossman, Ret. USAF age 80 of Laurinburg passed away Monday, May 31, 2021.
Bill was born October 4, 1940 in Tiffin, Ohio, son of the late Frank Foster Lossman and Mary Rose Shaull Lossman. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy, then retiring from the United States Air Force. He also worked many years as Director of Radiology for Scotland Memorial Hospital. Bill attended Laurinburg Christian Church, enjoyed fishing, computers, gadgets, and doing crossword puzzles. He loved his family and was dedicated to them as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Wayne Lossman, Larry Lossman, Frank “Bud” Lossman, and sister, Judy Hardy.
Bill leaves behind his wife Rita Brooks Lossman of the home; sons, Kenneth Neil Lossman of Bermuda Run, William “Billy” David Lossman (Becky) of Hillsboro, Matthew Kevin Locklear of Hope Mills, Clay Vinson Locklear of Charlotte; daughter, Leslie “Brooke” Gonzalez (Jose) of San Antonio, TX; brothers, Edward Lossman, Ronnie Lossman; sisters, Donna Ireland, Joanne Cassidy, and close sister-in-law, Bea Lossman; thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, along with a host of many nieces, nephews, and friends.
