Lori Ann Diamond was born August 8, 1976 in Norwich, New York, daughter of David and Velma Diamond. To most of her family and friends, she was always called Diamond. She always carried a pink energy drink and loved her Reece Peanut Buttercup ice-cream. She enjoyed listening to music and reading a good book. Diamond was a hard working woman with a long career of 25 years as a Correctional Officer and currently with the United States Postal Service. Above all, she cherished her time shared with family, especially with the grandbaby. Diamond passed away suddenly at the age of 48 on March 2, 2025. She will dearly be missed by her loved ones.
She is survived by her wife of 8 years, Jennifer Jernigan Diamond of their home in Gibson, and children, Trinity Hunt (Katelynn) and Andrew Hunt; her adored grandbaby, Acelynn Hunt; siblings, Benjamin Diamond, McKenzie Diamond, Mandy Kenny (John), Betty Jo Traister (Matt), Frank Diamond (Sarah); father, David Diamond; father and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Irene Jernigan; along with a host of family and devoted friends.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel followed by a time of visitation with family and friends.
