Lisa Desmond Obituary

Lisa Wilkins Desmond was born March 5, 1965 in Laurinburg, a loving daughter of the late Pearline Bass Wilkins.  She passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at the age of 55.

Lisa was a loving, selfless woman with a heart of gold, a beautiful spirit, and a smile that would light up a room.  She was always sure to tell everyone how much she loved them, and she was surely loved just as much.  She loved talking to her family, especially video chatting with her grandchildren.

Along with her mother, she is preceded in death by her son, Timothy Aaron Desmond; and brother, James Bass.

Lisa leaves behind her love to live through her husband; John Desmond; her sons, Adam Leviner, John Desmond (Leondra), Charles Desmond; her grandchildren, Madison and Chase Leviner, Mckenzie and Khloe Desmond, and James Austin Desmond; her sister, Janie Christensen (Mark); nieces, Nicole Priest (Jon), Pamela Autry (Robbie), Jessica Hewett, and Mary Hewett; her longtime friend, Teresa Barber; several great nieces, nephews, and a host of loving family and special friends.

Lisa will forever be missed and loved by so many.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all the nurses and staff at Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, for loving and caring for Lisa while she was there, she loved you all.  May God bless you all.

Due to COVID-19 mandates, a private service for family only will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2020 in the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.    Interment will follow at a later date.
