Linda Driggers (Driggers) Walters

Linda Driggers Walters, age 73 of Laurinburg passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021.

Linda was born May 22, 1948 in Marlboro County, South Carolina daughter of the late Coney Driggers and Ruth Leviner Driggers. She worked 35 years for Rostra Inc. and served as a member of East Laurinburg Church of God. She enjoyed working in her yard, and after retirement, she and James loved to ride the roads, enjoying the country side. Linda was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will truly be missed.

Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory, James Walters of the home; Bryan Walters, Darryl Walters (Trish), all of Rockingham; daughters, Sandy Fields of Laurinburg, Neda Coble (Tony) of Whittier; brothers, Joe Driggers, David Driggers, both of Laurinburg; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A Memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

A private interment will be at a later date.
