Linda Britt Lowe

Linda Britt Lowe, age 71 of Laurinburg passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Springhill Cemetery.  Rev. Lee Jackson and Rev. Woody Byrd will be officiating the services.

Linda was a loving daughter of the late Rufus and Julia Clark Britt, born November 6, 1947 in Scotland County.   She was the devoted wife of 43 years to the late John Bunyan “JB” Lowe, Jr. She retired after many years of service working in medical records with Scotland Memorial Hospital.  Linda enjoyed attending Stewartsville Baptist Church and Lighthouse Nation.  Reading, cross stitching and cooking were a few of her favorite hobbies.  Linda loved sharing time with her family and especially loved caring and transporting her grandchildren. 

Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Persinger.

Linda is survived by her children, Lisa Lowe Watts of Laurinburg, Donald Lowe (Bobbie) of Laurinburg, John Lowe (Kelly) of Laurinburg, Melanie Campbell-Tyler (Stephen) of Littleton; a brother, Thomas Britt (Nell) of Clover, SC and sisters, Betty McArthur (Donald) of Maxton, Pamela Ekis (Craig) of Laurinburg; her grandchildren, Ross Tripoli (Crystal), Dylan Tripoli, Shauna Tripoli (Armontae, Sr.) , Wesley Watts, Jr.,Taylor Hale Sewell (Justin), Kassee Lowe, Noah Lowe, Tanner Lynn, John “Britt” Lowe, Hogan Lowe, Melinda “Mimi” Campbell-Tyler (Juwan Cole), Emily Campbell-Tyler and great grandchildren, Ross Tripoli, Jr., Jeremiah Cole, Armontae Alford, Jr., and Brynleigh Sewell.  She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and many loving friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7th at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
