In the early morning of June 7, 2025, our beloved Linda Britt Inman peacefully passed to her Heavenly home surrounded by her family she dearly loved.
Linda was born October 27, 1943 in Fairmont, NC, loving daughter of the late Robert Lee Britt and the late Clara Barnes Britt. She married her forever sweetheart Robert Inman on her birthday in 1963 and happily shared many wonderful years together until his passing in 2009. She was a delightful lady who truly loved and cherished her family. Her children and grandchildren were her whole world. In addition to being a wonderful homemaker, Linda had a successful career with the Social Security Administration retiring after 28 years of dedicated service. She was a longtime faithful member of the First Baptist Church where she served the church in many capacities.
She enjoyed spending time being in her yard, working in flower beds, gardening and shopping. Many of her special memories were made during summer trips to Santee Cooper Lake with family. Linda loved sharing time with her children and especially her grandchildren. With love and great joy, she proudly attended most of their events and activities. Her legacy of love and gentle kindness will remain in the hearts of her family and all that knew and loved her.
Along with her parents and husband, preceding her in death is sister, Carolyn Britt Faulk.
Linda is survived by her children, Lisa Inman Harper of Laurinburg, Michael Inman and wife Amy of Laurinburg, David Inman and wife Kate of Shallotte; adored grandchildren, Millie Knox (Dylan), Whitney Harper, Lauren Reyes (Elias), Patrick Inman (Rece), Gavin Inman, Addison Inman, Zac Inman; her loving nieces, nephews and a host of devoted friends.
