Linda Quick Guinn of Bennettsville, SC departed this life at the age of 71 on Monday, September 30, 2024.
She was the loving daughter of the late Ebbie Quick, III and the late Jeanie Mae Knight Quick, born in Hamlet, NC on November 8, 1952. Along with being a homemaker, Linda worked in textiles with Fruit of the Loom for many devoted years. She attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Ghio, loved cooking Sunday dinners, and taking care of her family. Linda enjoyed flowers, sewing, horses, and caring for all her K-9 pets. Her greatest joy came from time spent with family and the many meals they shared together. Linda will be greatly missed and remembered as an adored mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jackie Charles Guinn; and brother, Ebbie “Buddy” Quick, IV.
Left to cherish her memory is son, Jackie “Little Jack” Charles Guinn, Jr., and wife, Sibbella of Bennettsville, SC; daughter, Christie Edwards and husband, Rob of Bennettsville, SC; grandchildren, Kelsey Edwards, Robbie Edwards, Cameron Clark, Aniston Barrington, and Jackie Charles Guinn III; great-grandchildren, Chance Locklear, Acetyn Johnson, Arabellace Johnson, and Keana Johnson; along with a host of loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Low Valley Oaks Cemetery.
