Lillie Mae (Miller) Quick

Lillie Mae Miller Quick of Laurinburg passed away at the age of 68 on October 21, 2023.

She was a loving daughter of the late Gus Buddy Miller and the late Margaret Patty Jones Miller born October 11, 1955 in Scotland County, NC.   Lillie was a devoted homemaker and loving wife to the late Lawrence Everett Quick who preceded her in death in 2015.  She dedicated her life to caring for her family and a longtime member of the Leitch Creek Baptist Church where she served in many activities and needs of the church.  Along with sharing time with her family, Lillie enjoyed shopping yard sales and flea markets, baking and cooking, and sitting on her porch.  Known and loved by many, Lillie was a true blessing to all those who knew her and will dearly be missed.

Also preceding her in death is a brother, Wesley Fields.

Lillie is survived by her children, sons, Wilbert Quick ( Adrienne), Wayne Quick,  Mike Miller, Buck Quick and  daughter, Destinee Sweatt all of McColl, SC; brothers, Charles Miller, Gus Miller, Johnny Miller; sisters, Betty Jane Martin, Minnie Pearl Locklear, Shirley Quick, Renea Locklear, Sara Catherine Miller, Geraldine Miller and Annette Owens; six grandchildren Lawrence Thomas Quick, Jeremy Freeman, Landon Carter, Zamora Carter, Dakota Freeman, Mason Freeman; many nieces and nephews, along with a host of loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Leitch Creek Baptist Church with burial following in the Leitch Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.    Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the church.
