Leslie "Nicole" Dial

Leslie “Nicole” Dial, age 45 of Durham, formerly of Pembroke departed this life for her Heavenly home on December 17, 2024.

Nicole was a loving daughter of the late John Junior Dial and the late Brenda Thompson Dial born January 9, 1979 in Laurinburg, NC.  She was a simple Godly woman who was truly blessed with the gift of music.  Nicole loved playing her guitar along with any string instrument. She also loved to share her talent in teaching others to play. She had a free giving heart, loved all people especially the elderly and could befriend a perfect stranger at their first meeting.  Although she suffered with health issues, Nicole’s life was filled with caring for others and being an in-home caregiver for many. She loved her family and adored her nieces and nephews.  Nicole will be remembered as a devoted and loving sister and aunt who will dearly be missed by all.

She is survived by her siblings, John Anthony Dial and wife Marsha, Michael Ray Dial and wife Sarah, Billy Dean Dial, April Renee Dial-Locklear and husband Daryl; nieces and nephews, Cody Dial, Cheyanne Dial, Brelaine Dial, Michaela Dial Cadd (Jason), Ollen Dial, Hunter “Man Man” Locklear, Gage “Doot” Locklear; great nephew and niece, Bellamy Cadd and Miley Cadd. She also leaves behind a host of extended family and devote friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Rev. John Cartrette. Burial will follow the service in the Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Pembroke.   Visitation with family will be held prior to services on Saturday, beginning at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
