Laurie Ann McPherson Miller

Laurie Ann McPherson Miller, age 58 of Maxton, North Carolina, passed away on November 15, 2022. 

Born on September 25, 1964 in Scotland County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Larry McPherson, Sr. and the late Minnie Elizabeth Troublefield McPherson. Laurie worked for many years in the auto parts industry. She loved fishing and watching her favorite teams, UNC Tarheels, Carolina Panthers, and Philadelphia Eagles play ball. Laurie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie McPherson; precious grandchild, Jakoma Allen Bowen; aunt and uncle, Teresa McPherson and Jimmy McPherson.

She leaves behind her daughters, Teresa “Nicole” Miller (John Oxendine) of Maxton, Taylor Miller (Christopher Grissett) of Lumberton; brother, Larry McPherson, Jr. of Laurinburg, Terry McPherson of Aberdeen; sisters, Darlene Evans (David) of Laurinburg, Saundra Washington (Greg) of Laurinburg; grandchildren, Jayden Currie, Jonathan Bullard, Nariyah Bullard, Jakota Bullard, Teresa Bullard, Shyanna Miller, Ariyanah Hunt, Chrisslyana Miller, Bryson Grissett, Kenzy Hunt; special aunt, Kathy Ray (Carlton) of Laurinburg; a special nephew, Eric McPherson, Sr.; along with a host of loving extended family and friends.  

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday November 18, 2022 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.  Family will receive friends following the service in the chapel.
