Larry Norton, Sr.

Larry Norton Sr., age 64 of Laurel Hill passed away at his home on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

Larry was a loving son of the late William Henry Norton, Sr., and Nealie Clark Norton, born December 26, 1954 in Hoke County, North Carolina.  He is also preceded in death by brothers, Eugene Thomas Norton, Sr., William Henry Norton, Jr., and sister, Martha Holloway.

Larry is survived by his wife, Diane Chavis Norton of the home; his children, Larry Norton, Jr., (Tasheta) of Rocky Mount, and Marcus Norton (Heather) of Cary; his grandchildren, Destiny Norton and Majesta Norton, both of Hope Mills, Evan Norton and Kristen Norton, both of Cary, Ni’Caila Norton, Xi’Omari Norton, I’Juana Odom, all of Rocky Mount, and a great granddaughter, Elizabeth Norton of Hope Mills; brothers, Charles Norton (Christina) of Bennettsville, SC, Harrison Norton (Iris), Ronald Norton (Alice Faye), Richard Norton (Cindy), and sisters, Margaret Graves, Betty Hatcher (Jimmy), Carol Norton (Thomas Parker) all of Laurel Hill, along with his many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will have a time of visitation on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Richard Boles Funeral Service.     Private services will be held at a later date.
