Larry Karl Miller, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend departed this life at the age of 78 on September 27, 2025.
He was born October 16, 1946 in Niagara County, New York, son of the late Glen and Fern Irene Cook Miller. Larry was a proud veteran who served in the United States Army. He retired from Abbott Laboratories, working as a machinist for many devoted years. Larry was fondly known as “blue eyes” by the love of his life, Rhonda Snead Miller, with whom he shared twenty-four wonderful years of marriage. He was a hard worker who had a love for those he met and enjoyed helping others. Larry loved riding and could be found spending the day on his tractor keeping “his road fixed” or on his Harley Davidson until he couldn’t ride any longer. Of all the things he treasured, his love for his family was greater. Larry was devoted to his family and friends and will truly be missed.
Left to cherish his memory is his adored wife, Rhonda Miller of their home; children, Rick Schad (Sheila) of Kentucky, Larry Miller, Jr., (Shawna) of Florida, Scott Miller (Karen) of Florida, Jeff Miller also of Florida; Chasty Moser (Mike) of Laurel Hill, Terri Britt of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, David G. Miller of Lockport, NY; many grandchildren including, Alexandra Kapahulehua (Kalani), Morgan Barton (Joshua), Zach Locklear (Ashlea), Mickenna Moser, Sean Miller (Mekyla), Larry Miller, III, (Jordyn); many great-grandchildren including, Luca, Blakelynn, Nakiya, Sage, Malachi, Rory, Kane, Emmit, Caleb, Larry IIII, Luke, Quade, Kaylea; nieces, Jennifer Hudson, Kaitlyn Morich; and five beloved fur babies; along with a host of loving extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service with military honors will be held 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
